This week’s talk at Las Vegas transportation service was the overhauling problems by taxi cab drivers; channel 8 news addressed the problem extensively. Ex-Taxicab authority officer who was fired, according him he was fired because he wrote tickets to taxi drivers and his corrupt employer did not like his actions, was a leading story teller.
Some drivers were also filmed overhauling, recorded by undercover officer. Taxi cab authority tried to defend its actions and Said the act of overhauling is done by a fraction of few bad drivers. Some Concerned individuals have also addressed the causes of the problems not cab drivers but double standard of Taxi cab companies who do not official support but systematically force drivers to overhaul, they said drivers are forced to overhaul over charge passengers to make up daily averages put in place by company and management. Drivers who failed to fulfill daily average are fired, suspended or assigned to an older dirty cab.
Companies with the excuse of daily averages and their power to manage their own company are exploiting poor drivers and Las vegas tourist they are just hungry to collect every penny coming to las Vegas, the have put a daily average to be met by every driver, they obligate drivers to be in the street for 12 hours a day no matter what exploit adverting revenue from the advertising display boards loaded in every taxi cab, most taxi companies do not pay for gas, drivers pay daily gas expense, companies take half of the gross booking, drivers pay 1.50-1.80 per trip to taxi cab authority.
Taxi cab authority want to have as many as taxi in the street to collect 1.50 to 1.80 from every taxi trip, they collect 100-150 dollars from every offense they write up on taxi cab, each offense get doubled, tripled and quadrupled on second, third and fourth time offense, Taxi authority knows an overcrowded and desperately roaming taxi cab drivers will commit mistakes, they write offense for every little thing: for wrong drop off and pick up spots, flag load, for shutting down or inaudible radio, forgetting your health card, for not filling trip form pick up spot/ time of pick up or drop off time and place, loading five passengers in 4 pack, driving in alternative route to avoid traffic, etc many silly hair splitting offenses.
Anyhow most of the offenses are to collect money from drivers.

I would; like to sum up the issue that it is like the movie the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. In the movie all of the are robbers they were acting illegally for the hidden treasure (money) the better one of all the bad was named as a Good but all are robbers.
The las Vegas showdown is not different than that of the good the bad and the ugly movie, this three parties: over haulers, Taxi cab authority and companies are just like the parties in the movie the Good, The Bad and the Ugly.
Stupid drivers who do not know what their rights run to the streets overhaul passengers to make their living and fulfill daily averages. Do not address their problems but willingly enslaved but they are the good guys of all the ‘robbers’ in las Vegas. They are like Client East Wood on Good bad and the ugly. Would they be able to shoot the bad as in the movie, I doubt.
Who will be bad and who will be the ugly do your own judgments.
Many drivers have also felt sad to be considered drug addicts, robbers, blame given to english none proficient immigrants. They felt sad also for Channel 8 News unable to cover news when driver was brutally punched by Taxi authority personnel while now extensively covering emerging from a single x-taxi authority officer
